Connor Racing Team (CRT) is Garson and Carol Connor. They discovered R/C model boat racing February 2005. They have not looked back since. Garson (the primary driver of the team) had his first race in May 2005. Carol followed suit in October 2005. They serve as Pit Person for each other in their respective heats in which they are both winners.
Garson and Carol have sinced traveled throughout the state of Florida and beyond, racing and selling R/C model boat parts.
Connor Racing Team are members of North American Model Boating Association (NAMBA) and Racing Association of Miami Boat Club (RAMBC). This dynamic duo are active in promoting and perserving the sport of R/C model Boat Racing. So much so, that in November 2007, Garson was voted into Office to serve as NAMBA District 3 Gas Director, and Carol was voted into Office to serve as NAMBA District 3 Safety Director.
They will tell you they can't remember what life was like before R/C model boat racing, and they have no intention of finding out.
Because of their racing experiences they understand the importance of having the vital parts necessary to a racer in order to keep his/her boat properly dialed in and ready to compete. It's disappointing, when you are in first place (point wise), at a racing event and a part breaks (you either don't have time to go to the hobby store or you are in a city you are not familiar with), and you don't have the parts for the repair, in which case, you lose your position and must scratch that boat for the duration of the race. Sounds familiar?
To the Connor Racing Team, this sport is their passion and through this passion was birthed Connors R/C Pit Stop.

Connors R/C Pit Stop

The concept of Connors R/C Pit Stop was born, out of passion and largely out of necessity. We were attending a race in Georgia, when at the closing of open water day, a part on Garson's boat broke. We were very far away from the nearest hobby store and none of the other racers had the part. Garson was able to repair the boat, to a certain degree, which allowed it to run, but not at the performance level, of which it was running the morning before. Needless to say, He did not get 1st Place, he got 3rd Place in that class for the weekend. Not, what we were aiming for.
After that experience we vowed we would try to avoid having this occur again and hopefully prevent it from happening to other racers. We started to purchase various parts, that are considered to be vital but not easily obtainable. Bit by bit we are developing our inventory. We are frequently updating the product list, so feel free to return often to see what has been added.
